I’ve been arguing with myself over whether or not I can/should post the weekly football write-up emails I send around the office after the game each week. The conclusion is that I can, however that I need to remove all proper names. Therefore as this week’s email included A LOT of nicknames I think I will leave those in and remove real names. Should still be very easy to work out who’s who from those in the know.

That’s what the TV is calling them at-least. I don’t understand how watching football on BBC is so much better than watching it on Sky and worlds better than Setanta. The commentators are generally worse, with the obvious exception of Andy Gray who needs to be shot, will probably do a separate post about him when I have the displeasure of having to listen to him next time.

Onto the actual game then, as I write this there is still another half an hour left (probably less by time I get around to publishing). Seems to me that either Sheffield Utd are pussies and are going down hurt for no reason or, as per a usual game with Middlesbrough, they are getting kicked left right and center. Another normal thing for a Middlesbrough game, Downing is a waste of space. His only tactic is to kick the ball past people then run into them to get a free kick and get the guy booked. Very impressed with Alves tonight, about time he looks fit and dangerous. If him and Mido get their attitude sorted its a very dangerous top line. Shame they will still have Wheater and Pogatez at the back, easily the ugliest, dirtiest and generally awful centre back combination in the league. Remembering that this league has Wes Brown in it….

Come on the Blades

On the request of certain people from the office, I have been asked to write about me switching desks within the office.

An introduction into both, not that it is very easy to describe, but I started off on the researcher side of the office. With my back to the wall on General Researcher 1 desk, between CamCam “Takes it in the” Brown and “Big Rug”. Withers opposite, the Snatchinator and Alex around.

Now I’m moved to the exact opposite end of the office, on the accounts management side. Again I’ve ended up with my back to the wall, watching over the whole office… sorted. Stuck with some Ginger broad and an Amy.

So what do I think of the move… boringly I’ll say it’s different. The Ginger broad has bullied me into saying she is a full scale hottie… make your own decision on that in the picture below. The other let down with this side of the office is the need to do work, on the researcher side there was always a few mins spare to talk about totally random, usually slightly dodgy/inappropriate topics. On the whole, yes it is missed, but bring on the dosh!

Oh yeah baby, felt that and I must be 150 miles away from the epicentre which is being said to be in Hull. I’m nearish to Oxford.

Just lying in bed, thought “WTF, someones nudging my bed” looked, of course nobody was. And it kept shaking whilst I could see nobody there. 4.7 on the richter scale apparently. More in the morning!

My current addiction… It has taken me now 2 weeks to get from the very start of season 1, to where I am tonight, up-to-date with season 3. Thats episode 13, thats 57 episodes in 15 days. Oh dear, please let me go outside!

EASILY the coolest, most interesting and geniously brilliant channel ever to be devised. What more could you need on TV, other than repeats of BBC comedy programming. You can pretty much be assured to be able to see either Top Gear, Have I Got News For You, Who’s Line Is It Anyway, etc etc etc on at anytime.

This wonder, of course comes with a downside… adverts. A worthy trade? Put it this way, since setting freeview up a few weeks ago this is my most watched channel.

The name is also kick ass…

So yes wordpress is being very weird. Just posted the football related post and it came up with some very strange bits of formatting, even though there was nothing but text showing in the code section. Things like having only 2 words on a line (one at each end of the line) and the text not wrapping at the end of the section resulting in the text continuing underneath the sidebar.

Will keep an eye on it!

Also, wordpress related, desperate to find the widget/code which allows you to add your social media presence to the blogroll, and adds the cool pictures relating to each site. Maybe this is only VOX you can do this on?
