Slightly unauthodox ice though…
Comscore (via Techcrunch) have released their latest stats on global internet users. They have broken them down by region and volumes, which as you would expect has China at the top, with the USA second and Japan third.
I wanted to see how this related to population, similar to what I did for the Olympics and who should be winning medals. Straight to it (these are percentages of entire population):
Netherlands – 71.52
Canada – 65.07
UK – 59.58
South Korea – 56.64
USA – 53.44
France – 52.23
Japan – 46.99
Germany – 45.07
Spain – 39.08
Italy – 34.61
Russia – 20.47
Brazil – 14.54
China – 13.45
Mexico – 11.73
India – 2.81
So Netherlands are actually quite Internet savey, who would have thought it!?!
Purely because she asked ever so nicely…
Just published the Home Made CD article, and looked at my Twitter feed down the side… who can spot the undeliberate mistake?
I got bored a while back and made a CD for someone. I thought I would share the playlist from said CD. Jakkychamp from Alcopop records will be happy!
This is where I’m going to be tomorrow. I will be looking closer at which sessions I will be attending later today, doesn’t look like I will be there until the early morning ones though unfortunately.
Will I be seeing you there? Check it out here: MediaCampLondon.
With the announcement that Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 will incorporate what they are calling private browsing I sigh with an air of resignation and start thinking about funny / legitimate reasons to use this feature.
The sigh is because this has been available on Chrome since its launch back at the start of Sept, read what I said about it then. The feature on Chrome is called “Incognito” and does the same thing as private browsing will on Firefox.
I know most of Firefox-fan-boys, bit I stay strong on Opera and Chrome, only using Firefox if I need a third browser open.
So, the fun bit, what would you use this feature for? Don’t say Porn!
Something I have only very rarely written about before, mobile tech stuff. Those who know me know I’m a bit of a phone nut, using it as a camera mainly to stop myself having to carry extra equip around. However, today I cannot resist.
Nokia today announced the N97, the love child of the 5800 and the E90, both phones which I’ve wanted / want right now. So surely it’s perfect for me?
Whatley agrees, and strangely, he also used the phrase “lovechild”, maybe I subconsciously read it and copied? Who knows.
I’ve borrowed one of the pictures from the S60 blog, thanks Ani, check out the full article here.
